I bought one of these about a year and a half ago, but just got around to threading the barrel and getting it fit and set up earlier this week. Ran about 80 rounds through it a couple of days ago, and WOW! It really makes a difference! The pistol that I installed it on has a 5″ Government length slide and an aluminum frame’ so it’s fairly light weight and had been prone to muzzle flip before the comp was installed. Not so much now though. And at these prices I’d be wasting my time and materials to try to make my own.
